THANKSGIVING - SCHOOL CLOSED

There will be NO SCHOOL on Thursday and Friday, November 28th, and November 29th 2013 in celebration of Thanksgiving. We welcome your child back to school on Monday, December 2nd.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy and healthy holiday.

STATEN ISLAND YANKEES FUNDRAISING

We are planning an outing to see the Staten Island Yankees in June to help raise money for our school.  Each ticket is $22 and includes All-You-Can-Eat hotdogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, soda and water.  Each ticket purchased will earn the school $3.50.

The ballpark is a 5 minute walk from the Staten Island Ferry.

Please join us for a night of baseball, fireworks and food!

Middle School Meeting - For 5th Grade Parents Only

Applying to middle school may seem like a confusing process.  We invite all 5th grade parents to come to the middle school meeting and get information on applying to middle schools. You will hear about how the middle school process works, get tips and information on filling out the application and have your questions answered.

Fall Book Fair

Please join us for our first book fair of the year! The book fair will be in the Playroom starting tomorrow and all next week (except Monday).

The hours of the sale are:

• Friday, November 8 - 9:30am - 2:00pm
• Tuesday, November 12 - 9:30am - 2:00pm 
• Wednesday, November 13 - 9:30am - 12:00pm
• Thursday, November 14 - 11:30am - 7:30pm (Parent Teacher Conference Day)
• Friday, November 15 - 9:30am - 12:00pm

If family and friends can't make it to the in-school Book Fair, they can visit our online bookstore at the link above and click on "shop now" in the middle of the page to purchase books. The books will ship to the school for FREE! The dates for the online book fair are November 3 to November 23.
