As in years past, the NYCDOE is recognizing teacher excellence
through the fifth annual Big
Apple Awards program. You and your school community, including students, families,
administrators, teachers, and support staff, are encouraged to nominate
current, full-time teachers using this nomination form by December 9; you can also share
the nomination link directly
with staff members and families. Teachers who have demonstrated exceptional
success in their impact on student learning, instructional practices, and
professional contributions to your school community should be nominated.
