Principal's Letter - Updates from PS 130M


September 9th, 2020 

Dearest Families of PS 130,

We hope everyone is doing well, and we are excited to start the new school year with you virtually on September 16th. We want to thank our families for being so patient and understanding with all the changes and updates that have been happening. Our teachers have reported back to school this week and are working hard to get ready to receive your children, whether in person or online. There have been some shifts in programming students and staff, due to updated guidelines, so we have been making the necessary adjustments in order to maintain safety and to make things work as best as possible. Some families have already been contacted about changes and some may still be contacted, and we truly thank you for your flexibility and understanding.

Our goal is to send out notifications of your child’s teachers and classes by the end of the day this Friday.​ ​Families can choose full-time remote learning at any time, for any reason, using the Learning Preference online form:

Please also join us on Monday, September 14th, (8:30am and 7:30pm) for another virtual family information session to provide you with the latest updates.​  These sessions will be recorded.
