PS 130M PARENTS ASSOCIATION
Dear Parents and Guardians of Pre-K to 5 Graders,
The Parents Association plays an important role in our school by supporting the initiatives of the Principal and administration. The PA serves as the main information center for many parents unfamiliar with the Board of Education and our school. We are responsible for the many annual fundraising events, school parties, book sales, workshops and school fairs. However, none of this would be possible without your participation.
There will be a Parents Association General Meeting for all in the auditorium on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 8:45AM. The topics to be discussed are:
o Principal welcoming
o Reading and Approval of Minutes
o PA Financials: May 2023 Treasurer’s Report
o Special Expedited Elections for 2023-2024 PA Board, SLT, and Title 1 PAC Chairperson
o Voting on budget for 2023-2024 PA budget & Fundraisers
o Upcoming Events
- Tuesday, June 6 – Bake Sale
- Wednesday, June 7 – Dance to Unite Finale Performance – Parents Show (3rd Graders)
- Thursday, June 8 – Chancellor’s Day – No School
- Friday, June 9 – Clerical Day – No School
- Wednesday, June 14 – Young People’s Chorus Performance at 6:30 PM
- Monday, June 19 – Juneteenth – No School
- Tuesday, June 20 – Pre K graduation ceremony
- Wednesday, June 21 – Kindergarten graduation ceremony
- Thursday, June 22 – 5th grade graduation ceremony
- Friday, June 23 - Talent Show at 6:30 PM
