Minutes to PS 130M General Meeting March 7, 2024

Joe – Mr. Fong won’t be here for this meeting; he is attending another meeting but he wanted me to remind you about signing up for summer rising and that P.S. 130 is closed for the summer for renovations; therefore summer rising will be at P.S. 150 this summer.
Let’s get started for the March meeting. Does anyone need any translation? The bake sale was yesterday and PTC is today through Friday/Monday.

This is our fundraising meter. We are at 40%; as you can see, we still need a lot more fundraising help from everyone to help us meet our fundraising goal to support all our Art programs.

Our spring dance will be on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 3:15pm to 4:45pm. Second graders and under will need a chaperone to accompany them to the party. Third graders and up can attend the party on their own. If your child attends an afterschool program, they will need to go back to their afterschool program after the party.

- PreK & Kindergarten graduation pictures – Individual & Class – Monday, March 18, 2024.
- May 17, 2024, is our annual banquet, we are working on invitations. If you have any donations or any gifts your “SO” significant other gave you and you don’t want them or need them, you are welcome to donate them to us for raffle prizes. Gift cards and gift certificates from restaurants are welcome.

Like I say every month, if you have ideas for fundraising, please let us know so we can get it approved.
All fundraising money goes to our kids and the art programs.
- The PA also pays for some of the school supplies such as:
- - Air conditioners and repairs - $11,000
- - Office copier, toners, computers, and supplies - $12,000
- - Student appreciation events - $12,000 (we currently have 580 students)
