September is here! This school year will have many challenges, and also many joys as students and teachers who have not seen each other for months will have the opportunity to be in class together again.
DOE NEWS
The Mayor and the Chancellor announced today that in-person learning will begin on Monday, September 21. School staff will report to schools on September 8. Starting on September 16, teachers will remotely work with all students for an instructional transition and orientation period. Updated DOE information on school opening can be found:

CEC NEWS
Mark your calendars for this School year. The CEC D2 calendar meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of every month.
Next week the CEC working business meeting and Calendar meeting will be on September 8th at 6pm and 6:30pm respectively. There are several resolutions up for consideration which will be posted on the CECD2 website, https://www.cecd2.net/ , this week. There are two public speaker session and anyone can sign up to speak using the Public Speaking Link below.
***Office of Sign Language Interpretation Services (OSLIS) will be present at the meeting to provide interpretation. The same link should be used to sign up and interpretation will be provided for all comments and questions.
