Monday, July 26 - Thursday, July 29, 2021 Classes meet daily from 3:00 - 3:30PM EDT |
Children in this free, four-day summer class will experience a high-energy and engaging dance class taught by a team of NDI Dance Teachers and Musicians, who will provide live music throughout the class. All classes will be held on Zoom. No previous dance experience necessary! This program is designed for children entering Kindergarten - Grade 2 in the fall of the 2021-2022 school year. Limited space available! This program is offered free of charge. It is part of the NDI Collaborative for Teaching and Learning’s NDI & The Art of Teaching: Early Childhood training. While children are only instructed by NDI Teachers, there will be dance educators in training observing and participating in the class. NDI Program Support will oversee Zoom security and all children's needs throughout the duration of the class. Below you will find a link to our Dancer Expectations document. Please take these into consideration before registering. At the end of the document, you will also find some Zoom tips. |

About National Dance Institute (NDI)
National Dance Institute (NDI) believes that the arts have a unique power to engage all children and motivate them toward excellence. NDI has grown to become one of the country’s leading arts education organizations since its founding in 1976 by the late ballet star Jacques d’Amboise while he was still a principal dancer at New York City Ballet. At the core of its programming is the NDI Method, which embodies Jacques's philosophy of joyful and rigorous learning for every child.
