Next Thursday is a half day and PTC will be virtual. Dismissal will be 3 hrs earlier than your normal time to pick up the kids. For example, if you pick up your kids at 2:30, then you’ll pick your kid at 11:30am. So pickup times are 11:20am, 11:30am, and 11:50am.
Testing is right after spring break. Now is the time to get ready and practice the ELA & Math for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Please Practice!
Thanks to our community, we have 50 new students, some will leave and some will come in like revolving doors. We welcome them to stay, and we did get some funding to help care for our new students.
We had an unexpected fire drill yesterday, a younger child pulled the alarm at lunch time, they were being curious. Ms. Thomas & Ms. Samparon was here to handle it. If you hear the fire alarm don’t ignore it and don’t wait; we usually make an announcement if we were to have a fire drill. Good news is that everyone got out in 6 minutes.
Any questions?
Parent – Anything on summer rising?
Mr. Fong – Mostly it will be here, but I don’t know much about it yet. They are starting to have the talks about it. The buzz from CPC is that it will mostly happen.
Parent – Anything about summer programing for ISS?
Mr. Fong – Permits haven’t gone out yet, we will keep you posted.
Parent, Jenny – Padlock on the doors?
Mr. Fong – they were talking about putting padlocks on the door. It costs over $100 Million to pad lock the doors, so its still in the talks. In high school, events are outside so the kids would be locked out if they put the padlocks. I only know about this from the news, you know a lot more than we do.
Thank you.
Closing time – 9.05am – next general meeting is Wednesday, 4/5/23.
