Minutes to PS 130M General Meeting October 10, 2024
Attendance: Lisa Wong, Yvonne Moy, Amy Hu, Joseph Li, Lily Wai Lee, Ana Fung, Kai Mei, Jennie Yin, Angela Mui, Sally, Michelle, Mr. Fong and 20 other participants (see sign in sheet, in person)

Here is our fundraising meter, so far, we have raised $17,528 and our target goal is $330,000. We need help with fundraising to reach our targeted goal. If you need more information, please contact us or come into the PA office in room 101.

All fundraising money goes to our kids and the art programs.
If anyone has any ideas for fundraising, please come to us in the PA room; our door is always open, and everyone is welcome to come in. If you want to learn more about the PA and the work we do and about the school, please come into the PA room.
3. The PA Funds these Programs and more
Here are all the costs of the arts programs the PA funds, as you see all the art programs are not cheap. All our fundraising efforts go back to the school.
Our Art Programs & est. costs (last year)
- - Air conditioners and repairs - $11,000
- - Office copier, toners, computers, and supplies - $12,000
- - Student appreciation events - $12,000 (we currently have 560 students)
Parent – what is NDI?
Joe – National Dance Institute
Joe – the costs of these programs are over $100k and we also help with the A/C, copiers and ink toners to help and support the school.
The banquet is our biggest fundraiser, and I will be posting this picture every meeting to remind you of this event. All the money that the PA raised goes towards the art programs and supporting the school.

Joe - Right now we will run our election for the remaining seats on the board.
Anybody want to be Co-president with me? I believe you must be a previous board member in order to be co-president.
No one raises their hands to be Co-president.
We have 2 open seats available for Vice President, do we have anyone who would like to self-nominate or nominate?
Romario – self nominates for the VP seat. 15 people voted Romario to be Co-vice president.
Joe – nominates Kai Mei. 12 people voted Kai Mei to be Co-vice president.
Angela Mui was voted in as Treasurer.
Welcome Romario and Kai Mei to the PA board. Congratulations!
