Ms. Levanoni, our guidance counselor, will hold a town hall meeting next Wednesday. She wanted to make sure everyone knows how to get onto the waiting lists before the district meeting because the waiting list is time stamped. Spring break is coming up and after that will be the state tests. Have the kids do marathon reading to prepare for the ELA test. For the 4th & 5th graders the test will be on the computer. For the 3rd graders it will be on paper this year.
Lily suggested using Nitro type to help your typing skill.

- Bake Sale - Wednesday, April 9, 2025
Thank you, parents supporting us.
Mr Fong – New York City 529 program Kids Rise is a 529 program, all the kids from kindergarten to 3rd grade are all given $100 through this program. Parents just need to sign up and watch the money grow, you can also contribute more money into your child’s account if you would like. An alumni raised $1000 for the 3rd graders. The 3rd grade parents will see a little more than $125 in their NY kids rise account. If you log in, it will be under your kid’s name. 40 to 50% of our parents have logged in. This $ is for your kids, it has interest, and it can be used to buy books for school. Alumni help public school kids.
Here are all the costs of the arts programs the PA funds, as you see all the art programs are not cheap. All our fundraising efforts go back to the school.
- NDI – 1st grade & 4th grade - $17,500.
Joe – please come into the PA room so we can talk about this more and maybe you can help us coordinate, produce, and fundraise with this great idea.
Parent – on Family Day, maybe we can present the art show verses having it in display.
Lily – Art show, maybe we can have Ms. Chan work on it. Do you have contacts for the art galleries in Chelsea?
Parent – we can even do this for the upcoming family day.
Joe – its going to very busy on family day to present the art show that day. The readathon took a lot of time to get together for it to go out as a fundraiser.
May 16, 2025, our annual benefit is the main event coming up. Lisa, do we have any seats left,
