Joe – Welcome back. Two more months till the end of the school year.

Mr. Fong – Thank you to our parents, I can’t believe its May. We had our SLT meeting and I wanted to say I’m grateful to our parents. When I started, we had 1000 kids and now we have 500 plus students, but we didn’t loose any of our art programs. Thank you for the support of our parents and the Parent’s association. At SLT we talked about reduced class sizes. We were granted to open 4 more classes; the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade; general ed classes will be smaller but not the G&T classes. The general ed classes might have 15+ students in each class.

Joe – Thank you, Mr. Fong. We’ve been busy with the state ELA testing the last 2 weeks and the next 2 weeks with the State math test and Science test for the 5th graders.

Mr. Fong – we had full attendance for the 3rd graders; no 3rd grader was absent for the state test.

Joe – We have a lot to do this month and this upcoming month.

Parents’ Association opening & Review.
