Ms. Thomas – Thank you to the PA, they help kick off teachers’ appreciation week. On Monday, the PA started by making dumplings and other goodies for the teachers. We are trying to do a little something every day of the week. We wish; we can do more for the teachers. We are in the middle of testing, and we have our annual banquet and multicultural show coming up. Thank you for all your support.
Joe – Thank you Ms. Thomas.
Kevin – Thank you Ms. Thomas, we recently had teachers’ appreciation and the PA hosted a luncheon and treats for the teachers. We had our 3rd grade violinist and Inside Broadway perform. There are DVDs and USB for sale if you miss the show.
Joe -Thank you Carmen & Yuki for the Readathon to help support the art programs.
Kevin – We posted some student testimonials on our PA Instagram. Our students shared their thoughts and experiences here at PS. 130M. Thank you to Moe for interviewing, recording, and working on this.
This past weekend we hosted our annual school wellness/ health day. We partnered with our local community, and we were able to provide fresh produce and goods as well as having local businesses and community programs come together to reach our neighbors and community. It was a great event to bring everyone together.
Joe – Reading and approval of minutes and Treasury reports, upcoming events. Parents’ Association opening & Review.
Here are last month’s meeting minutes to be reviewed and approved. They will be posted on the PA Blog site.
These are the minutes for review and to be approved from our last meeting in April, 9 people approved of the minutes; minutes are placed on record. Thank you!
This is the treasury report for review and approval; 9 people approved the treasury report. The Treasury report is placed on record. Thank you!
We have only reached about 60% of our fundraising goal with approximately 2 months of the school year left. We have 1 or 2 tables left for the banquet. Go see Lisa and grab your seats before they run out and you miss all the fun.
