Dearest Families of PS 130,
Congratulations! WE MADE IT! 😄 We cannot thank you enough for partnering with us to make the most of every day for your children this past school year. Thank you for all of your tremendous work and for your ongoing commitment and support despite all the challenges and obstacles that we faced together. It was the greatest joy having all of our children learning in person and seeing them strive and thrive!
It continues to be an honor to serve our school and community. We are truly grateful to our families, all of our staff members, our Parents Association, and our entire community. All of your hard work, trust, love and support continue to make all the difference.
We also want to also thank you so much for your patience and understanding, as we know there continue to be ongoing updates and changes. Please stay updated this summer by checking our school’s website,
https://www.ps130m.org, or Parents Association Website, http://ps130pa.blogspot.com/, along with subscribing to updates on the NYCDOE website, https://www.schools.nyc.gov. We will also send announcements and forms via Operoo, so please make sure you check your messages regularly. Class assignments for the next school year will be sent out via Operoo in late August.
We want to congratulate our Pre-Kindergartners, Kindergartners, and Fifth Graders on their in-person graduations and ceremonies last week! It was so nice to see so many of our families back at the school and in the building once again! For all our families not returning next year, we wish you all the very best, and please reach out if we can be of any help or support.
We want to congratulate everyone for successfully completing another most challenging school year at Public School 130 Manhattan! We wish everyone a restful, peaceful, and joyful summer. Remember to keep checking in with your children with how they are feeling, and please remember to take good care of yourselves, too! Be kind to yourselves! :)
Please send lots of hugs and love to all of our children! 💗
Sincerely,
Mr. Fong
