New York International Children's Film Festival (NYICFF)

Dear Parents,

New York International Children’s Film Festival (NYICFF) continues this weekend with even more incredible—international!—films for kids. NYICFF is known for showing films that are more thoughtful than what is generally found at the multiplex. AND these films are rarely available anywhere else—so act now! NYICFF screenings are also a great way to build community—pick a film and go with a group. Even better, our school earns $2 back for every ticket you purchase!

It’s easy:

1. Go to https://nyicff.org/tickets/ to view the lineup (they’ve got programs for all ages from 3-18!)

2. Select your tickets

3. When checking out, please select our school from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the form.

And just like that, our PA earns $2 for every ticket you purchase.

Here are some exciting titles screening this weekend:

This Cannes darling recently won the César Award (France’s Oscars) for best animated feature. It has all the makings of a classic: mother-daughter drama, sneezing truck drivers, and a full-scale, community-wide search for a chicken.

This Chinese and Dutch co-production uses Rotterdam as a vibrant urban backdrop to a story about adolescent rivalries, martial arts, and the challenges of growing up. Featuring amazing Dragon Dance sequences!

Based on the beloved French chapter books by Timothée de Fombelle, Toby Alone follows our 1.5mm-tall hero as he fights for the conservation of his tree-dwelling community.
